Past Ramblings: Part 8
LOL... It's been a while... and we're back online just in time for... "Star Wars: Episode 3!" In other news, I have just been getting ready for the summer-time.

The Four Fangmeiers - that sounds like a movie title itself - will be accompanying me to MarqE's Edwards IMAX screen and there, at 3:15 am... we shall behold George Lucas' final cinematic Star Wars vision on the biggest screen available! I was actually pretty surprised that all four of the boys could go. Richard (19) is home from college on break, so I knew he could go, but Clark (17), Will (15) and Kevin (14) all still have school. Mom okayed it, though, so WE'RE GOIN' TO SEE STAR WARS!
In other news, I have just been getting ready for the summer-time. My main focus right now has been paperwork for Extreme Camp and preparing my messages for Super Summer. I have to say I am actually kind of frustrated right now with Extreme Camp. They don't really seem to be on the ball for as large an organization (with as much history as they have). They require more paperwork than any other youth camp I have ever been to or heard of and their communication system (with churches coming to their camps) has been somewhat disjointed and unclear for me. I'm reserving judgment until we've actually been and have experienced the actual camp, but so far, my experience with the registration has been the worst I've ever had, even counting the time I was a camp director and our church had to field registrations.
As for Super Summer, I can't say enough good things. They've got their process down to an art-form by now. Special appreciation goes to Leighton, Mandy, Sandra and their newest, Jason!
I'll be teaching the following lessons: "Taking Your Masks Off," "Everything's Gonna' Be Alright," "The Christian Dating Difference," "Learning to Talk your Walk," and "Live... Keepin' Our Eyes On You" for Orange School, Session 3 at ETBU in Marshall, TX. Should be fun!
Okay, well enough for now... make sure to check out some of the other new features we got on the front page!
